Our Story
(Rooted in Heritage. Crafted with Purpose)
H.O.B.A was born from a deep reverence for Habesha culture — a tradition of beauty, identity, and artistry passed down through generations of Eritrean and Ethiopian women. For centuries, intricate hair braiding has been more than adornment; it has been a language of community, celebration, and pride.
We created H.O.B.A to honour that legacy — bringing the timeless elegance of Habesha traditional wigs to women around the world, handcrafted with the same care and intention that has defined this art form for generations.
The Craft
Every H.O.B.A wig is handmade — a labour of love that cannot be rushed. Each piece is carefully constructed using traditional techniques, ensuring that the texture, structure, and spirit of Habesha hair artistry is preserved in every strand.
Because our wigs are made to order, each one is uniquely yours. We take the time to get it right — because you deserve nothing less than exceptional.
A Note from Semira
"I started H.O.B.A because I wanted every woman who wears one of our pieces to feel connected — to her roots, to her beauty, and to a tradition that has always celebrated her. This is more than a business. It is a love letter to our culture."
